Stick Flex Profile

The Twitch is designed to elevate performance and is optimized with a low kick point. This means that the stick flexes lower, closer to the blade. This design enhances the stick's ability to store and release energy quickly during a shot. When a player loads the stick by flexing it, the energy stored in the lower shaft is rapidly released at the low kick point upon shooting. This results in a swift and explosive shot release, ideal for close-range shots, quick snapshots, and fast-paced gameplay.

Shaft Construction

With the all-new Twitch stick, Bauer continued to use the boron fiber material which is strategically applied in the construction. The ultra-lightweight and rigid boron fiber material is placed throughout the shaft to create a high strength-to-weight ratio, optimize energy storage, and increase reactivity, helping lead to enhanced shooting and passing performance. The curved edges and rounded shaft allow for a more natural grip in the palm of your hand.

The new Twitch Taper Technology is a revolutionary new taper design that begins closer to your bottom hand to load shots sooner and recoil faster, resulting in a more efficient energy transfer and reactive release when compared to the XE taper previously seen on the AG5NT.

Blade Construction/Stiffness

The stiff blade core is an advanced blade construction that combines stiff, ultra-light foam and carbon bridges to bring more pop to your shot.

Graphics

The Bauer Twitch features a reflective, digi-camo graphic, featuring a never-seen-before chrome accents that appear to change color as you move.

Grip

The grip on the Twitch is slightly different from Bauer’s previous low kicks. It is less grippy than most sticks on the market so it can allow for quicker hand transitions, but there is still enough grip to ensure stability and control in your hand. The grip ends a bit higher than it does in other sticks, about a third of the way up the shaft.

Blade Patterns, Flex & Stick Length

The Bauer Twitch Intermediate Hockey Stick is available in P92, P28, P88, and P90T.

P92 is the best blade pattern for all-around play, with a mid curve style. It is great at handling the puck in small spaces, including face-offs. This curve may suffer a little bit on the backhand.

P88 is a relatively traditional curve. A popular choice in the past, it excels greatly at stickhandling, quick wrist shots, and controlling snapshots.

P28 is a much more aggressive stick pattern, used often by elite players. This blade curve specializes in quick and accurate shots, but it can be difficult to get used to since it is also very good at raising the puck.

P90T is a hybrid of the P92 and P28, with the lie of the P92 and the toe of the P28. Additionally, the curve is a bit taller for more control and power on faceoffs and board battles.
